......... I should be happy, and yet I'm not...
... I officially feel cleansed that I have seen it all. But, I can't say I truly say I feel so happy at how everything was played out. In short, I don't think I honestly cared for the movie.. or as much as I hoped for I supposed.
Quite ironic too, I got all hyped up watching just the first half(being that there was a bit of a gap between getting the second video half). I guess maybe it just had to do with just how everything was layed out.
I guess my first part of my 'rant': importance of characters. Personally, I was hoping Heid would do more than what he did.. I can't recall there ever being an explaination for his coughing problem either.. though.. I guess that doesn't really matter.... But I think my more irking thing was Envy... Was REALLY disappointed with the amount of things Envy did. Just seemed to have been making a speical appearance, getting his ass kicked and speared, and then becoming a nice circlar mantle peice for the rest of the movie.... And making a nice smear out of Hoho-papa X_x;(who ALSO did absolutely nothing but being snake food).
..... Gluttony..... I still want to know.... why he is still alive. Let alone the how he got that big and creepy X_x(brings shame to his form in the manga actually, and I thought THAT one creeped me out). But still, it wasn't like there's much of anything he could eat in there, of any value anyway... so how the heck did he get that flippin' HUGE?! Unless it maybe had something to do was Dante did to him in the anime.. but I oddly don't see that being the reason... And also amazed he was still down there that whole time.... And unless my knowlege is fading now(being that it's REALLY been a full year since I saw the last ep x_x)... but didn't even Ed say something in the end about taking that whole underground city with him while transmuting himself? Bah, I forget now x_x
I also think Wrath has officially become one of my other favorite homunculus... despite how much I used to hate the annoying brat. But after getting a few bitchslaps in the face(metaphorically speaking) and becoming not so evil.. he just grew on me... Felt really sad when he died too.. ;_;.
.... hehehehehe... Historical refeneces/figures in fictional things make me laugh XP.
... I suppose to now cut to the chase, what sadden me the most.. was the end. Though, it could've been most worse. I mean, the entire reason of the movie was, Ed and Al being together again. Which, was good that it happened. But how it worked out I wasn't too happy.... Is it because our world sucks? Is it because I loved Al's badass 1337 alchemy skills of making a self-army through inanimate objects? Is it because I doubt a 2nd anime series can be done if they are on the otherside? Is it because I love FMA and that's all there'll probably ever be (asside from the manga and all the fandom made things)? Is it because a few of my other favorite characters died to make it all possible? ..... I dunno... ._.
I also don't 'really' understand why Ed should've gone back. Because the only reason the Gate was being open was of Envy... which.. by then was gone. Otherwise, it's nearly impossible.. Plus I whould think if the Amestris side was sealed, it shouldn't matter anyway...... and the question also remains... how DID he get back to the otherside? o_o;... And if was Gate IS sealed, that means it can't be opened for any reason, including other resurrections right? It makes me wonder why no one had ever thought about it before... of course then again... HOW many people really surive through that and live to tell the tale about that sort of thing? XD;;
So I guess in short... I just didn't like how everything went. And it pretty much ruined my hopes of a possible continue. Unless they make a plothole and somehow cross over to Amestris again(or prehaps a different method?), or.. either don't have Ed and Al in it, which seems absolutely redundant... or maybe have it taken place in our world O_o.
So alas, I still love the series on the whole to peices, but where the it went(or I suppose the animated half of it), just makes me sad ;__;
........ Also.... Longhair!Al pwns Shorthair!Al.. was so awkward seeing it short again ><.

I dunno... for me, the Manga totally pwns the anime (Although I still really like the anime)
And yes, I like Al with the long hair rather than short (Is it just me or was Al just replacing Hied in our world?)

.. also I still think things would have been MUCH better had the anime not made that last crack turn/twist and involving our world into all of this.. Because I usually have a large biased hatred when something like that happens. And.. the way everything was going it wasn't even needed (other than snapping a few people's minds like myself @_@)... So... I was also partly hoping the movie would try to make that better... but it didn't ._.
I think at this point and time, I also like the manga more.. However even that now is getting very wanked out, and in ways it's making me worried x_x;. But, normally it seems mangas are better than it's anime.. art of the reason I think is because the actual creator has more control over it and not some company. So, in a way a manga is like what REALLY happens.. I can only hope Hiromu knows what she's doing ._.;;
and yes... I was kinda wondering if he was trying to be like Heid too =/ (sure looked like him, lol.. but then again, I wonder why... XD)

Bah... Oh well, the movie is still *kinda* fun to watch.. I seriously hope A) They leave things alone and let the brother's go off into the sunset or B) If they seriously concider doing a second series, they at least do shit right this time *sighs*
And I'm pretty sure the creator of the manga has a pretty good handle on where she's taking things (Dammit I wanna find out if the Father is also Hoho-papa! And I wanna find out if Pride is someone in Al's body *snickers* Now THAT would be a mindfuck XD)

lmao, Pride!Aru? That WOULD be interesting XD. I don't see it likely though, actually I'm getting a few theories who Pride might be. Though I still would love to see Al's body showing up at some point too..
I think Father is Hoho-papa though.. but then again from the ways FMA sometimes work, it's debatable o.o;

Yes, whatever Dante did to Gluttony was definitely the reason he looked the way he did in the movie. Mind you, Gluttony's cute little line of "Tabete ii?" or "Can I eat?" is no longer in effect. He was completely consumed by Gluttony and thereforth kept on eating until shown results occured.
WRATH, on the other hand, PWNED THE MOVIE. HANDS DOWN. Oh my GOD, I can't describe how much I loved Wrath's part in the movie.
Yeah, I really hated the ending. ;_; They should be in Amestris..!!! *cries* Oh wells. Actually, someone made an icon of Al's armor and then Al popping out of it, and it says "OMG... HE WAS IN THERE THE WHOLE TIME!" XD
