Nope, because if it has Mew in it, I want to see it XP (I like the Pokemon movies, just not the TV show itself)

It doesn't seen like he'll be in XD though. But is playing a major part of the movie(was skim reading a bit of the beginning of the summary and staring at pretty pictures)....

Hah, I know I said I wouldn't comment anymore but it's just somewhat ironic...

You see, awhile ago I felt an urge to replay a Pokemon game but alas the only one I could locate was silver and I've played it enough to the extent that I'm currently at the pond with the Red Gyrdados (sp)... and if that's not illegal, then certainly the factor that I've decided to write a fanfiction-ish thing retaining to the "Pokemon journey" is. [I've only decided to do the latter thanks on behalf to the lack of overall communication and character depth in the game... heh and I'm only to the point of beating the first-bird-loving gym leader in it.]

It’s quite saddening knowing my Kadabra shall never be capable of evolving though… ah well.

lol, actually the games aren't so bad itself. I always used to play my gameboy games when ever on long trips(plane or by car). Just spend the whole time leveling or something. And if for some reason I'm hooked on the game while at home just plug it into the gameboy player for snes or play Pokemon Staduim to save battery power(but now I have a SP which you can just plug into a wall and charge it)

Pokemon can actually produce some interesting fanfics believe it or not. I've read some really awful ones, but there's been some good ones too. It depends on how it's written.

As for your Kadabra situtation. If you're using a rom, most emulators(sp?) have built-in gamesharks where if you can't find a certain something in game, you can always hack it in and catch it there. It's not quite the same as evolving though, but second best thing. Also hacked roms in general are quite interesting in general. I have for Sapphire where someone made every single pokemon availible to catch(or found by evolution). And I know more krazier hacks where people totally warp the game into something completely different. Map changes, text, actual changes in pokemon(like complete made-ups), etc.
