grifstarI feel like I should really do that fanon meme for Jet soon. Damn kid is pulling a lot of weird stuff on me. DX
... I sort of hate it when apping canons, they start out "fine", but the more you play with them the more changes they seem to undergo and the less IC they seem to be. To the point where if you observe the canon all over again you start to go "WTF? Mine never does that". It makes you feel like you aren't playing the character truthfully anymore, even if it might just be signs of the characters just evolving because of new experiences (AND being around people they aren't usually with). Or because you need to add a few more opinions/emotions about some things just to make them seem more life-like, because the canon never talked much about it.
Either way, I hate feeling like a bad RPer by essentially "adding" things that were never quite talked about in canon; but needed because that very topic is brought up, or is just needed to add more depth to them(cuz let's face it, many canons are pretty one to two dimensional). Then of course, there's the phobia that you're dwelling way too much on one side of their personality and not enough on the others.
