I love Gamestop

Perhaps 'love' is too much of a big word to put it as, but more happier with them than I was before.

Looks like I got myself a late Christmas. Except using mostly my own money. Gamestop appearently is trying to get rid of old used games, thus having a 3 for 2 sale on anything used. Sure enough, I wanted to take advantage over the deal and pretty much went crazy trying to find old PSX/PS2/Gamecube things that were on my list of wants. Assuming there was a used copy of it of course.

No many of the games I been hoping to find were there however. Actually most of them were oldies that I forgot about or never imagine to see, like Brave Fencer Musashi. Not very familiar to the game myself, but it's an extremely rare find. That was gonna be a now or never. Has some rather good music in it though. It's amazing what you can find something. But meh, one person's trash can be another person's treasure.

And finally got Kino's Journey(50% on anime). I can now finally watch it since I haven't been able to find fansubs for it. However there's something fishy about it, because it came with only one dvd, yet I got the entire boxset. Which makes me think there SHOULD be more. Yet it even says only 4 eps x.x;. Then why the hell make a boxset when there's only one cd? Grr, stupid people wasting cardboard on pointless stuff. I should do some reach to confirm if there's really 4 episodes.

Also Skies of Arcadia is interesting. Which is another game I got. Reminds me of Grandia 2 in some way. But a bit of Windwaker and having a WA3 battle system.. Especially on those ship vs. ship fights. But at least I have a new rpg to play with..

Still need to hunt down WA2. But at this point I'm broke, more or less. I have about $200 but I ain't touching it, yet. Saving most of it for cons. Because again, you never know what you might find. Though last year I think I didn't spend it all, and that was only half of what I have for this year. Of course, there's a good chance I might go to a 2nd con this year =).

I want a job.. Can only hope that my *cough'independantstudies'cough* goes according to plan. If so, things will get much brighter for me. Or so I believe will. Less annoying school time = more me time = more flexiblity = more independance = the sooner I can do something worthwhile.

Also the FMA game will be here soon.. ;_;.. So yet another "to use the money stash or not?" situation. However I could probably wait awhile. Seeing how I already got plently of things to keep me entertain for awhile. Speaking of which, dub 8 is tonight. Gonna have to pull out the VHS again -_-*.


All-in-all, I should be content for awhile. Even though school starts in one more day *gonk*

Kino No Tabi is not exceedingly long, but it is quite larger than four episodes. It is not a 'box set'; the first dvd merely comes with a box to place the others in.

hmm, bizarre. Usually when buying a boxset you get all the dvds though. Of course, that was how it was for me. It even cost more than for a single dvd. There was some other things that came with it but I doubt they would have been that exspensive..

Did it happen to come with a license plate saying 'Hermes'? Then I have that as well, it was not much more than the single DVD thus what you are paying for is the box material more than anything. I’ve seen it done several times before as well; Saiyuki does not have a boxset yet you can buy the first dvd with a box to place them all in, likewise with Mirage of Blaze and Wolf's Rain.
