My inner fangirl scares me sometimes...

I've realized for awhile now, couple years actually... That I've gone from flat out disliking yaoi and all things that resemble it, to actually liking it far more than het. Granted, I used to not care for pairings at all.

It just seems weird to me that when it comes to stuff like that, it's somehow easier to ship two people together if they are guys.. But if one of them were to somehow have a sex change, I just.. can't do it anymore >.>.

There's just very, very few het pairs that really appeal to me anymore. Most of them I do still approve of(unless it's those IN YOUR FACE CANON ones), but at the same time I just.. prefer to ignore. I'm not sure if it's because I just find most of them extremely boring because it's just so blank and obvious and badly cliched/stereotyped(like Ed/Winry, Allen/Lenalee, and so on), the fans just wreck most of them for me... or I'm just turning into another stupid yaoi fangirl.

Pretty sure it's a mix of all three, but I think I blame the first to reasons the most >.> *sigh*

True, the stuff I ship generally happen because there's enough canon excuse for, makes sense, and isn't for the sole purpose of fanservice it makes a nice plus though >.>... Smut is never my biggest priority either anyway, unless I'm in the mood for it at the time. I just like to tease at that. I rather have fluff and other things that are... just cute or silly, or something >.>
