Disgaea'n on DS~
Sep. 27th, 2008 03:41 pmBought Disgaea for DS with my b-day money yesterday~ Also bought D3 too, but now I'm feeling pretty guilt trippy about it. Overall I have to say.. it's actually quite enjoyable. I never got the PSP one, so it's been a long time since I ever really picked up the first Disgaea...
It really is.. pretty much a pocket sized Disgaea 1. The only things that really annoys me most is that all the music in it has been nerfed down to lower quality... DX And, while I don't really mind the lack of VAing in most of the cutscenes, I do kinda miss it at the same time. Then again, the VA sounds kinda weird for some reason on the DS anyway...Could also be just because Etna's newer voice bothers me.
Pleinair freakin' ROCKS, omg.. I so wish they made her playable sooner. It does pay off to get her as soon as possible. Also it seems like the menus are much nicer than the original, for whatever the reason. But takes longer getting used to... Unless you played D1 already XD
But the rest looks pretty much the same, just smaller. The top map screen actually does come in handy, at least for Item Worlds. I haven't tried any of the wifi things yet, but lots of that sounds pretty cool too... Kinda miss all the new features that were added by D2 though, or some of the newer classes/monsters >.>;
I'll probably be distracted the next few days... XD
