grifstarWell that's.... TOTALLY not as planned, but I guess I'm not complaining. XD
Just when I thought ALL HOPE was lost(having computer freeze up while trying to remove stuff? Yeah, not a pleasant sign), I rebooted for the 5 millionth time again annnd:
- Loading: A little bit faster(still not as fast as it was a few days ago, but better)
- Hotmail: WORKING
- MSN: WORKING
- DA: WORKING
- Google: WORKING
- Other random pages that didn't want to load: WORKING
- The two main spyware!viruses I been battling nonstop for about the last 5 days(DoubleClick and Virtumonde): Have not seen, DoubleClick I think I finally got rid of last night because it hasn't shown up again since.
Basically, it looks as though everything is finally back to normal. I'm just gonna do another virus scan and see if anything else comes up(but having everything working prefectly fine right at the startup is DEFINITELY a good sign, I haven't been that lucky in days), and then if it's still good I'm gonn spend the rest of my time spring cleaning/defragging/uninstalling crap to improve speed. There's also another program I pirated that I never installed yet(was part of a package thing) that's supposed to increase that even more, so I might finally give that a spin too.
... I'm pretty sure my computer hates me at the moment for installing, uninstalling, and doing all those other weird things to it just to get rid of some really bad files ^^;;;
