Ugh.... RPs
Jun. 9th, 2008 02:25 amWow, this post is turning out longer than I thought.
I.... I really don't want to but.... I'm pretty much ready to give up.
I've had it. I'm tired being the whiny/naggy bitch for Eclipse. Obiviously I can complain all I want and it's not going to change a single thing. All it turns into is a battle of "Why the hell and I doing this and why do I even keep trying?"
... And nothing quite bothers me more than convincing people to join, ONLY to have them sign up for 3 other places just days later. And then try to act as though they're still with me, but are basically giving off the body language of "I don't have time to play here, and it's pretty obivious that I never wanted to actually play here in the first place if I'm now all these other games now, can you drop me?"
Really, nothing really pisses me off anymore than that. And that's basically how everyone treated me for Spectral, and that's also how everyone me at Eclipse now too. And I'm sick and fucking tired of dealing with it. If your never were going to be very commitment, then why the heck do you apply? If your going to join a new RP, would it hurt to be the LEAST bit helpful/active/support? Don't just crap out halfway, ESPECALLY when the person running it is friend-oriented. That's just plain rude is what it is, honestly.
And even GIVE ME the whole inactivity bullshit as an excuse to not do anything. I spend probably 85% of my time on that damn site trying to fight with everyone else to response. I don't like having to battle with 4 people/10 or so characters.
At this point, I really don't WANT to try running another RP if all everyone is going to do is treat me like shit and just simply "not care". I also don't generally like joining other RPs because:
1. DRAMA. WANK. STUPID PEOPLE.
2. I don't really like RPing on LJ(I perferr IJ overall.Icon whore is whoring)
3. Generally the characters I play are ALWAYS taken. And usually being the only person from one series isn't quite as fun as when there's at least someone else with you.
4. I just don't like instantly jumping into RPs that have been running for a very long time
5. Most places I go to die out within the first month anyway.
And there also too many single-series RPs I would LOVE to do (WA3, Nippon Ichi, possibly FMA again, etc), MAYBE some OC-based ones if I'm lucky enough. But a multifan is pretty much the only way to solve that... ._.;
Grif misses the old days when Grif was within 2 really kickass RPs side by side, and was pretty much the best days of Grif's life ;__;

Date: 2008-06-09 01:33 pm (UTC)Ne, is there anything against using journals that are kind-of/sort-of in another RP? Because I'm probably gonna be moving most of my Eclipse charries there, and I don't really want to remake them
... Jet possibly being one of them >D

Date: 2008-06-09 01:55 pm (UTC)And also I dunno what I'm going to do with Eclipse just yet. Although really the only "plotline" I had going there can easily turn into a private RP. So maybe I can transition to Midian using the other journals without any problem at all.
