Actually it's really not so much about them doing a bad job with the dubbing(although they could totally botch it up). It's more of it ending up on AS and the series becomes another mainstream "white trash" anime that everyone and their dead akuma grandma watches, and as a result makes the fandom into a total fanbrat nest.
Funi usually doesn't do a very bad job of things; there is a VERY good reason that when they took One Piece from 4kids, people were squeeing their asses off.
The real worry is for the soon to grow fandom of this series. :(
I'm more worried of the later... Because DGM's plotline just has "put me on AS plz" written all over it x____x
I have a grudge against Funi mostly because of what they did to FMA, which was the love of my life many years ago. Although most of the dubbing was decently done(except for making Envy sound like a very bad Freeza), I still can't really forgive them for making the series so painfully popular that it actually harmed the series more than it made it better. And basically scared away all of the serious fans on it.
.... And also, I hate Vic. I'd have to kill somebody if they give him a role, or at least a main one x_x
