1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?

... There's a few people I want to do this on already (and are likely to not be asked for). So umm... yeah XD;
Laharl (Disgaea):
1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
At first... he REALLY bugged me. Mainly from everything about him... His English voice (which I grown a custom to always hear first) got on my nerves, although later I got used to it (although now I can't stand it again because I've heard it in Japanese too much). And just the overall character was... irritating.
But then come halfway in it or so, I realised that he really wasn't so bad.... literally XD. And that all of the quirks about him actually became quite amusing to watch. And I kind of luffed him ever since.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Unless main characters suddenly became unimportant.. XD;;
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
To some degree, I suppose.. I think I mentioed before that I can get into some really violent rages now and then (well, I wouldn't really call it "violent", when I don't even like.. hurt anything >.>; ). Doing things simply because I just don't want to.. things like that.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
Nippon Ichi has a very col fandom~ D:. It makes me wish that it wasn't so damn small ;___; (makes Dgure look like a giant in comparison). Although they are a bit... unusual sometimes. Then again it's not like ANYTHING that N1-related isn't unusual either XD;;
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Flonne, which kind of was the canon ship anyway. However, I can't possibly see Laharl being anything else but asexual. With the whole fear of b00biez, and certainly doesn't seem ghey either >.>;.. And afterall, Flonne WAS the one that made him open up more. So it seems fitting eitherway.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change? (Personality wise, not anything pertaining to the plot.)
Yanno... I can't really think of anything O_o;.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
I'd try to get along with him, on just a buddy-buddyish standpoint, but I don't think it'll work out so well... XD;;. Especially when the muse isn't very fond of me right now as it is.. Something about I don't let him have enough fun, and not wanting to do whatever work I have for him >__>;;something you'd kind of expect from a spoiled demon overlord kid
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or most hated?
He's one of my favs now.. ^^; Maybe not so much my favorite in the whole fandom. I'm not even SURE who that would be anymore O_o;
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom?
I'd hype. Mostly because I like him... But I'd leave it up to whoever plays/watches it to decide for themself.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
I'd say so. Everyone who's into N1 probably had played the first Disgaea, at least. Nothing else he appears in almost ALL of the games as an hidden extra(and playable =D). Even though Flonne and Etna get more fame(which gets irritating), it's not N1 unless he's there somewhere.. D:
Gig (Soul Nomad/Cradle):
1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
.... Awkward. As far as when first playing the game. Ya see, I never payed much attention to the information/reviews about the game when I first got it(or well, when my brother bought it.. XD). So I had NO IDEA what it was about. Besides from the rumor it was a indirect Phantom Brave sequel, and seeing a couple of screenshots and maybe one or two artworks.
Like Laharl, I didn't really care a whole lot for him at the start. Maybe not "hate", but certainly wasn't someone I would go ranting and raving about. However as the plot and all that progressed, you come to find out he really wasn't quite as one dimensional as before. Kind of a standard tradition in all N1 games, and actually did care for other things besides himself. Particularly, I really liked the relationship behind him and the main character. Since it pretty much went from "I dun give a fuck about you", to "hey yanno, you aren't so bad afterall"
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
... Quite.... XD;; Considering he was kind of attached to the main character the whole time (and was almost like the "voice" for the main, since they didn't even really talk. Really the entire time they were just being sort of forcefully dragged along through everything XD)
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Not really... However the other thing that really made me like him so much, was the fact most of the things ever said were just so.... Truthful, regardless how blunt it ever was. And more times or not I actually had to agree with him than the main, which seems kind of sad in a way... XD;;
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?

Not many really come to mind.. However I was kind of fond of the idea of a possible one-sided Gig/Danette. With by how the normal/good ending was and all that.... Since it was proof that he really wasn't hated that much afterall and some people actually wanted him to come back~~ D: (*insert a sappy "awwwwww"*... *gets shot'd at* x_x)

One of the things I kind of wished would happen at the end was that he would becone Vigilance again (seeing how that's who he WAS to begin with, and seemed like the whole Gig thing was like some sort of brainwash thing that happened... I dunno, that whole part is confuzzling still and was never clearifed DX). But it never happened. And yet at the same time I sort of glad it didn't... Because I like the Gig personality just as much, and dun wanna to see it go away XD

I'd wanna be friends with him~ Especially if it is the more tamed version =D;;... How it'll work out? I have no idea.. XD

On the list of top favorite N1 people. But again, I don't have an all-time favorite. The only reason why I'm fangirling more so on him lately is because it's still recent

didhgovjsohjnd who DOESN'T like Lavi~? D: You learn to love him for his silliness. And then love him more when you to see the other side of him too. Plus HE USES A HAMMER!! ANYONE WITH A HAMMER AS A MAIN WEAPON IS AUTO WIN!! XD

More than some others. But no.. Actually of the "main" cast he's usually the one that stays out of the spotlight.. Which is fitting away, when his main/true reason of being there in the first place is to watch, not to contribute. It seems almost right that he shouldn't be getting MUCH attention

I like the fact that there's just so much about him. And it's all so... complex D:. You think you might know everything, but then something else happens

It's... Alright. It has it's good and bad moments. I generally like to stay out of it but... D:

I can see him with almost anyone... and yet also nobody. Yes Lavi/Allen is my favorite DGM ship, but oddly enough I'm also against it at the very same time. Why? Because Lavi is a kind of person not meant to be stuck with anyone. It doesn't matter who they are. The only reason he's girl chasing in the series is because it's all part of the "Lavi" act along with the playful/dorkyness, or at least.. That's how I fanonly see it.
Sure, he has a heart now, got too wound up in everything to where he befriended a lot of people, and possibly doesn't even want to be a Bookman anymore. But it still doesn't really change a lot of things. Plus he's been way too many different people, that his true self is practically all raped away.
