Wishlist meme =D

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

- I'm a SUCKER for giftart~ *__*... Even if it's just fanart, but it's even cooler if someone goes the extra mile and draws one of my OCs too. I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what I like by now >.>;;
- GAIA GOLD (or cash). OMFG...... There's so many items I want but can't get~ ;________;
Material Related:
- Money... Like, seriously.. I'll be so happy to have a few extra bucks right now >.>;;
- FIGURES!!! I been trying to get a kickass collection going of those going for like years now. And there's PLENTY of sets I have yet to complete D:.. And I could spend hours going on and on about which ones I still desprately want. If anything I can give people a list.
- Plushies.... I luffs plushies (even it's just generic animals, I been wanting to collect those again too)
- Posters/Wallscrolls... I'd rather preferr posters now because they aren't as big. I have another goal of trying to post as many of those on my wall as possible >.>;;;
- Lavi costume(and wig)..... Because I'm getting quite worried I won't have it ready by Fanime D:. I was thinking about having his first outfitso that I won't have to worry about trying to paint white stripes on the hammer >.>. But whichever is easier. I REALLY like the pre-made ones that been floating around Ebay.
- Anything else that sticks out and just has "Grif" written somewhere on it.. Again, most people know my interests by now(or at least one of them), if you just see something that you'd think I'd like.. Go ahead and get it ^__^;;;

Date: 2007-12-04 04:32 am (UTC)Umm... whatever a medium counts as..? XD;; I generally go with that. Since I'm really not that fat at all, but kind big like.. height wise >.>;. And usually medium sizes fit me perfectly.
I can always get a hammer on my own. I thought about just buying a small wooden one and spray painting it all black.. >.>; (good thing the SIZE of the hammer isn't a problem XD) But right now I'm just worried about getting the whole uniform and a wig.. D:
I'm horribly tight on money too.. D: But I MIGHT be all changing within the next few months... hopefully >.>;. And plus the prices I been seeing the whole outfit right now is like almost $100, and that's not even counting shipping DX..
.. And I'd rather go with the "professional" one, since usually home made cosplays usually don't look so good... Well, depending who made it. But I remember seeing pictures of yours and I luffs it =D;;;;

But... yeeeeaaaah... I think my hammer is gonna be no more than 1'0" big X_x. Well, maybe.. I'm still thinking about it. But I also don't want it being too heavy if I'm gonna have to lung it around all day. And I'll take the boots too, if they'll fit.. Honestly I can NEVER keep track of my shoe size DX. I kind of had something else I could maybe wear, but it's kind of off.. I mean, it'll work, but the hardcore fans are likely to notice, I think >.>;
Oh, and the con isn't until close ot the end of May. So you got pleeeeeenty of time ^^;. Other than it would be good to have it a little sooner than that(like a month or so at the latest). Just in case something doesn't work out, and needs to be adjusted. Or whatever

They have a tritop which most people get because it's shorter and can get hot but some get the longer one since that covers your ass and makes it flatter/more masculine. Never, ever, EVER use Ace bandage. You permanently tear boob tissue and you can break ribs.

Date: 2007-12-04 08:23 pm (UTC)I know someone that got what looked like just a big alastic strap. Kind of like a giant sports bra almost... And I heard it flattens pretty well, without really hurting at all >.>;
I dunno, it's not something I've generally.... messed around with XD;;;. I've tried my own ways to make it flat before, which generally worked well in the past with no pain whatsoever. It's not completely "perfect" though, but then again it's not like people are staring at it either........ Or so I hope >_________>;;;;;
