I got agnosticism, dark moor, gryphons, lavi, luca turilli, matantei loki, and nippon ichi
agnosticism - My official.... 'religion' of choice.. XD;. I used to be an athiest for a long time(well, a year or two), but kind of stopped when I noticed athiest means no god at all and everyone is just genetic meatbags with other chemicals.... When I DO thnk there's something far more than just that, I just dunno what exactly(but have my own theories, here and there).. and don't think any other religion knows the answer either..especially when a few in particular has been proven to be wrong on MANY things
Dark Moor - Really kickass metal band group I found by accident on Kazaa ages ago(when that still existed..? XD;). Seriously, their music was a breakthrough for me... Just because it was so... different than anything else I've heard at the time. It WASN'T just random people screaming into a microphone, it WASN'T acid/guitar solos 24/7, the lyrics itself were unique.. usually fantasy/mythologoical themed or inspired by ancient historical events instead of just.... dumb stuff D:
Though I find it somewhat ironic that I liked most of thier louder songs at first, and not so much the slower ones.. but now it's the other way around XD;
Gyphons - I luffs all fantasy, mystical antimules really.. Though it's a shame that usually gryphons get forgotten as much as they do D:
But.. yeah.. I likes birds, and I likes big cats too.. SO I GET BOTH IN ONE! =D
Lavi: - Laaaaaviiiii~~~~ <3...*is all Ari's fault* XD. But seriously though, aside from Al (or maybe even TIED with Al).. Lavi has become my newest obsession XD;;. I really can't say how else to say it other than the first time he shows up there's now this extra brand of humor to go around.. Then suddenly later on his personality does a nice 360, without... actually noticing it a whole much until you look back O-o;;. And then for a few other things that... maybe I shouldn't mention, to those that aren't that far ahead yet XD;;
Long story short.. VERY complex character @_____@
Luca Turilli - The guy that started it all~ D:... "Ride of the Astral Fire" = song that REALLY got me into progressive metal, which later got me into finding Dark Moor. I don't listen to as much progressive metal as I used to back then.. but I'm not sure where I would be now if I never found it.
Matantei Loki - Short way for Matantei Loki Ragnarok (or Mythical Detective Loki in English).. Originally I tried it because I thought it had some connection to Ragnarok Online(before that other anime was made)... but how wrong I was~ XD;; This anime was somewhat of a first for me, because it was one of the firsts I wanted to try without any referrals from other people that it was good.. Actually I don't looking up ANYTHING prior to watching it other than pictures. And it was also the first time I ever used and learned about bittorrents =O. Making it also the fastest anime I went through as well O-o;;... 'think I finished it in a month.. Which never once had I done that again due to either series being unfinished, or just got lazy D:
That aside, I actually really liked it. Maybe not as much as some other ones, but I thought it was nice change from other anime I was watching at the time. And it later made me want to learn more about Norse mythology XD
Nippon Ichi - Makers of Disgaea, and several other SRPGs (though Disgaea has been possibly thier most successful, and better works)... Really, none of thier games are meant to be taken seriousy, which is what I like about them. And yet while most of the characters aren't the most complicated, or the story is a tad predictable.. They also seemed to take stabs at themselves at the same time O.o;.. And basically, MST3000ify almost every cliche there is. In short, it's RPGs on crack XD
Even then, the gameplay is freakin' NUTS (and horribly addictive). With a level limit of 9999, different classes and weapon styles to choose from, and customization options like you would've believe D:.. Best of all it still uses SPRITES (and very nicely, too), which is a dying/extinct art in games ;____;
