When did you first discover Fullmetal Alchemist?
around April 2004-ish, knew someone that was interested in it, they got somebody else hooked, so I gave it a shot too

Are you happy you discovered FMA?
Well, let's just say I never been quite the same since. Nor can I see a palmtree, lightbulb, zepplin, or listen to Beethoven without busting out laughing

Do you consider yourself a fan?
More than the norm... -.-;

Do you recommend the series to other people?
I have to a few that I know would enjoy it

Sub or dub?
Subs are always 127 times better. However, I have to admit the dub was done surprisingly well. At least for the fact it could have been many times worse than what it was.

That and most of the seiryus of FMA are actually quite a popular bunch(Paku and Rie were at least), let alone fitting the roles well.. and those that weren't popular, definitely are now XD.

What do you think of the movie? The OVAs?
The movie was a disappointing waste of time, considering how long I was practing dying to see it after the anime was over. Rather than Bones trying to tie the ends it left, they just made it a thousand times worse I thought.... And the ending itself, was just too... anti-climatic and dull, for it to be a kind of 'final' ending. Which, I still have yet to disbelieve being true. Because FMA is not a type of series that is meant to die that fast. Let alone the fact there's was probably more things left opened to work with than wrapped. Aside from the fact a nice chunk of the former cast is kind of dead now. All the more reason why not throw in the Xing peeps in and kick total ass >.> <.<. Unless Bones, or someone has something more planned and isn't sharing yet. I just see the movie as non-existant and it wasn't what happened, than just an RP prompt

Ironicly though, movie!Al has turned into one of my main favs ever since that thing. Maybe out of anything I've ever seen so far o___O;;

... The OVAs were pretty disappointing too though. They were just, too short to be completly pleasing. The State one was good, since it brought back memories of the good times of the series before it got twisted up. And the Chibi Party had a few good gags, mostly trashing up the movie in some ways(which should say something in itself >.>;). But the others..... No.... just no.... x_x

What about the manga? Do you read it?
Pwnz the anime on so many levels once it gets going(I honestly hated the manga alot at first, but ever since it got out from the anime plot I got hooked), . People that haven't read it, are totally missing out o_o

Which episode is the best?
I still love the Lab 5 arc, and some of the Scar eps before that. So pretty much everything between 13 and 22 roughly. There's a few in there that I didn't like all that much(16 I think was one of them, 21 was also that really bizarre one if I remember correctly).. Mainly because the everything was still so.... practical. Not really complicated, and yet interesting still. Since shortly before that is when the series starts to get more unusual and just weird. When it starts getting to the Gate and all..

And then there's good ol' 37 for shits and giggles.... Man I love that ep XD

Which episode is the worst?
Random pointless fillers. 4 and 35 being particular ones I hated. I guess 49-51 probably count too, because I just hated the freakin Gate twist they pulled -.-; (I offically call 50 the "Crack Episode" though, for so many reasons.. XD)

Did you cry at any point in the series/movie/OVA/manga?
My inner fanself shattered into many ity bity little pieces by the time I saw the whole movie.... D:

The best opening/ending song?
I dun really have one anymore. I think I over played most of the songs to death by now. But, I'm still a diehard fan for Melissa, since it too brings back the good old days of FMA D:

Take a wild guess... >.> <.<.... Although, there's actually tons of characters that I really liked. In some shape or form. Just, some more than others

Who’s your least favorite character?
Tucker, Archer, and Kimbley. The bastard trio -.-;... And Rose

Which character do you think is the most misunderstood?
... Probably Envy. I'm not saying people should go out and love the guy. But I just hate how, biased I guess would be the right word, some people think of him. I actually don't even lable him as being 'evil' either =/

Which character is the most under-rated?
FUERY~! D: *wouldn't have probably reconized him hardly at all too if it weren't for Izzy* XD, Falman and Breda are another hardly ever mentioned two too

Which character has the worst past?
.. Actually many lives suck for a lot of people XD;;;

Is Ed actually short?
Actually, I never really saw Ed as being... 'short' short. But hey, it's so temping to join in on the fun of that anyway =D;;; (especially when usually surrounded with people that have Ed muses >D)

So…do the Homunculi have souls or not?
Dispite how many times it said they didn't have any... I'm still going to say yes, yes they did. Technically speaking if they didn't, they probably couldn't really think for themselves. Well, Greed ditched everybody, Lust in the end knew that she was only being used and turned, and Envy's... err... himself XD;. Everyone seems to still remember who they were before('cept for Gluttony, don't think he really counts per say because he was kind of more 'created' than the others), obiviously have feelings(Wrath and his temper tantrums -.-;)... And pardon my spoilers, but Wrath also appearently had a kind of spirit form after he died. And this is only using anime examples here..

Do you like Dante?
... Eh.. I didn't like her. But on the whole 'main villian' level, there's been worse cases out there

I didn't used to, but later I did... Now I'm just neutral. There's times she's alright and others I would like to ignore her a bit..

Neither, he has a completely different agenda

Kimbley I think. Envy at least has more of an excuse for it..

Did you like Hughes better after he died?
I wasn't really a Hughes fan at first. Still sort of not. But the whole death scene was quite surprising, to say the least.

What about Greed?
I grew on him a lot when it kind of proved the fact that he wasn't such a bad guy afterall. So like, roughly the ep he actally died in just about >.>;

Did you like Pride better before you found out he was a Homunculus?
Not really. I usually keep forgetting about Pride actually. Even though he's probably the most important one... he wasn't very.... eh... memorable for much Homunculus-wise

If you were Roy, would you have killed Winry’s parents under orders?
If it's orders then you have to anyway...

Was Hohenheim justified in leaving Envy after he created him, or was Dante the better parent?
I'm still questioning why Hoho left to begin with...

I wasn't exactly sure first few seconds, kind of aimed at girl. But was corrected pretty quick ^^;

I still say it would have been badass if the Greed!Ling actually had some of the personality from the former one(but, I dun think Father would be even dumb enough to do that, let alone if it was possible)... I dunno, Greed!Ling hasn't really done enough for me to get ahold to who he's like exactly. That and I still just miss the old Ling.. D:

*hides Raynis and Angy in a closet* >.> <.<.. There's a fine line between Sues and OCs. If they actually act.. err.. like a normal person/thing should act. Then by all means I think they are fine. Sadly most Sues is what gives OCs a very bad name -.-;

Also, I dun see what's so wrong about having an FMA-based idea, but yet has nothing to do with the actual story itself -.-;

Traumerei is good if you want a little something to sulk over... Just dun listen to Forever afterwards >.>;;;;. Otherwise, I kind of avoid doujins since 95% of them are just pairings.. Not to mention even fewer are ever even translated..

Which is better: non-con or romance?
If it's not canon, or has no content to build on. Then there's point in reading it -.-;;(I personally just like things in the fluff range where it's still either 'cute', or just hinted/obiviously hinted)

Who is the best character to use in pairings?
Ed works quite well in a lot of casesEd and Al seem like the easiest to pair to people.. Roy is too for the most part, but I don't like most of them..

And the worst?
Hohenheim

Do you get mad at people who don’t like the same pairings you do?
Only when they shove the pairing they do in your face. And it's not exactly one you 100% agree with.

I think the difference between Mary Sues and OC are as follows:
OCs help progress the plot, Mary Sues are the plot
In an OC's presence, the canon characters around the OC will act in characterly.... when a Mary Sue is present, the canon characters will get sucked out of character and fall head over heals for said Mary Sue.

Also, the only time I am ever annoyed with OCs and want nothing to do with them is when they are paired off with canon characters. That crosses the OC line into Mary Sue for me.

Not always though, but pretty much. Technically the main defination of a Sue is a self-inserted character based on the author. Basically, the author making themself a character of the story, usually to entertain thier sick fantasy to 'make out' with fictional characters that they like no matter how OOC it is -.-;. A true OC having anything close and convincing to what could be a canon, without being one.

Raynis is probably my closest thing to a Sue, and probably would be one if I didn't use her correctly. Due to the fact she's got an unusual, non-FMA type name, and the very overkilled "no parents" senario. Other than that though she's very.. normal. Doesn't want anything to do with the military other than there might know where her family is now, only knows very amateur alchemy abilities, doesn't have a CLUE about sins or gates, and is basically just trying to make a living. Only met a small handfull of canons in RP too, actually had to save both Ed's and Al's asses once XD;

Thing is with my FMA OCs is that all of them have thier own story that doesn't involve any canons(Anguish especially is now from a completely different AU. Since in his true story he never did leave the "Gate", and it's completely different from both the anime and manga termology of it, and homunculus have a different purpose too). Raynis and 268 are surprisingly on the same page and actually intertwine. Which I find funny because I they didn't come around at the same time at all. In thier case though, some of the FMA canons might be mentioned and cameoed, but really they aren't supposed to meet them...

At the same time most of them are easy to retie back to the main FMA plot and be used in RPs. Which... I do alot. And OCs are a good thing to have in RPs because they add more flavor to eveything. Just that most RPs disagree in using them cuz of, well, Sues. Which normally sucks.
