I had a dream last night that I managed to buy a tinydragon plushie at a mall (a rather decent looking one even), it made me the happiest ever.

Until I realized it was a dream ;o;

I hate so much when stuff like that happens.

On that note too, I also made the really retarded decision to order some more figurines online that won't be arriving until the same day my mom was visiting again (... buuuh). Unless they somehow get here earlier, it's gonna be a blast trying to ninja those away from her.

Also I'm sort of having a love/hate relation with WA5 lately. It's like the more I play it, the less it feels like it belongs to the series, besides your classic item names and blatantly ripping monster/enemy models from WA3 (no really, 90% of these things I've already fought before).

Still love it way more than 4, but it doesn't feel quite up to par with 3 or the other two before it. So far whatever the reason WA5 reminds me more of Skies of Arcadia with just a Wild Arms aftertaste, plot and everything Despite not remembering much about it. It's not terrible or anything, there's just a lot of things from the originals I miss, which I blame 4 for taking everything in the weird direction it is now. And since it's unlikely a 6 might ever exist.. ;^;

... Unless there's something really awesome that happens later that makes up for everything, I don't mind XD

Ah I remember playing WA5,I beat it a while back though. I'm still a little iffy about the whole experience,like the story and characters were okay...but I dunno. I just didn't get that same great feeling I had with WA2. I think the only characters I really liked from WA5 were Dean and Greg,I really wish they elaborated their pasts a little bit more, or flesh out the characters; just seems they kept things really short and simple,and just move onto the more important character of the story. Maybe that's why I wasn't really satisfied with how the characters were presented.

I think the battle system for WA2 was just unique and different,that I enjoyed battles more than anything. Even the characters were likeable in their own way. I can't even remember playing 3 or 4....Lol. Then again they probably didn't draw my attention as much as WA2 did for me. I really would like to play the very first WA1,I've heard a lot of great things from that one,but I'm already backed up on old games,lol. I STILL haven't finished Persona 2: Innocent Sin,I got distracted by newer games xD

I still need to play 2 XD. I've only finished 3 which was just beyond amazing imo and totally worth it, and quite a bit of the first one.. although I'd probably need to start over if I was to pick it up again. 4... 4 just made me want to tableflip something within the first hour, ugh ~_~

I have nothing against 5, it's alright on it's own. But somewhere it seemed like it lost the original flavor the older ones had in order to be more "hip and modern" like some other games out there now. 4 tried the same thing but failed at every aspect of it, 5 at least does it a little more moderately. But still, it's not quite the same. I miss all the simpler stuff like having no party switching, prologues for all the main characters as to how they all met up the way they did, collecting new tools for said characters and going through dungeons pseudo-Zelda style with them, and just the old FP system in battles as well as things like having Mystic and Accelerator (even though they still sort of exist in 5, but it's not completely the same).

Character wise though I'm not sure how but Dean grew on me XD which I'm currently working on an RP app right now as we speak which shall be ffffff. Really like Greg and Chuck too, Rebecca is getting more and more on my nerves as time goes on, the rest are kinda just there or haven't seen enough of yet.

The other problem I'm having with WA5 though is that the way it's setting itself up, either it's gonna do something not generally done before, or it's gonna use every single bad cliche that ever existed. Which would be kinda sad since Wild Arms have been known to have some fairly groundbreaking and lengthy plots.

Lol!

I'll check out WA3 when I get the chance then,lol. And take your word for it about 4 xD

Yeah,I pretty much felt the same way. I don't hate it or have a grudge against it,it just didn't really "Wow" me entirely. I also missed some of the old things you mentioned,Especially the prologues for the main characters.

Dean does grow on you,that's how it was for me too,lol. I thought he was gonna be a really over-obnoxious kid,but then you realize he isn't really That bad. Yeah,I never liked Rebecca xD

I....really don't want to spoil it for you with how it goes and how it ends for the story,but yeah...just like my comments about it already,you might/might not feel the same way as I did after you beat it.

3 has a kind of slow start but once it gets going, it's good. Last I checked you can get the game for like $5 online too so it's not like it's that expensive either XD

... Dean is just derp XD. But yeah, I kinda thought it would get annoying after awhile but it just.. didn't.

Ffff, I been trying to avoid spoilers anyway, which made icon hunting very irritating, BUT I'LL FIND OUT WHEN I GET THERE orz
