Dear Ity Bity SN fandom,

Why must you INSISTANTLY try to make Gig/Revya(the girly one) into an actual "love" pairing? There's seriously NO canon bone in it's body because even the ending for it was too far into the crack area to be really used as actual evidence.

And when you DO get to the ending, it's pretty damn clear at that:
1) Gig is NOT the romantic/affectionate type.
2) If there's anything he can possibly do that can totally humiliate someone else or make himself seem even better, he'll do it (like saying that Revya loved him, especially in the way he said it. And also since.. well, "she" in this case, never admitted to anything about it).
and 3) Gig pretty much cares far more about himself than to even care about anyone else.

So... oh yes, it's just prefectly reasonable to make them magically "omgclingyloveydoveyawww~!LETSGETMARRIEDANDHAVETENKIDS!!"... It's just... no >__> (srsly people, you burn my eyes out more than all those "elitist" EdWin and Allen/Lenalee fangirls. And that alone is saying something).

Either that or Grif REALLY just wants to see more normal gen-fics produced and such.. or just less terrible writers

And thus, I stay into crack pairings for most the crack pairings I read, the author actually makes them work well together.
And also why I have decided to stay completely away from the FMA fandom. >.> It reminds me too much of the Inuyasha peoples.
And all I can write is crack anyway. >.<

Crack pairings can turn out horrible too, unless it's sololy meant for humor.

Really it all depends on how it's written. If your gonna pair two people up do it RIGHT and in a way that doesn't make them horribly OOC. And honestly, most pairing I like I prefer being written/drawn as just friendship-ish, or just very slow uberly fluff bonding. But it varies, and depends on my mood XD

Really, I don't know which I hate more: the "eeewwwww gross!" het shippers, or the "I don't care, it's hawt" yaoi/yuri shippers ~_~

True. I like the friendy fics than the hot smexing action ones. Unless it's just an off the wall hot smexing that breaks your brain with its hotness. o.o I've only read one or two of those so far and they were in the Naruto fandom.

I honestly think that writing gen fics is harder than writing the smut. A lot of those fangirls just think that smut is what everyone wants which isn't the case.

Those shippers don't bother me all that much. Once I notice the OOC, I tend to bail out, especially if I'm not warned beforehand. The Mary Sue writers though.....they are the worst of the worse. I've read some good Sue fics but they are so far and few between. The rest I wouldn't even poke with a stick.

And this convo reminds me yet again that I have two bunnies looking pleadingly out of their cages saying 'god dammit, just finish us already.' o.o
