Dear "Anonymous" People,

For gods sake, stop asking me for OC advice. In case you forgot, the O in OC stands for Orignal, as in, do whatever the hell you want with it. I don't give a damn, nor do I want to take any responsibility when I got hundreds of my own to deal with. All of which picked and chose how they wanted to look and act on their own (which gets irritating sometimes, because they always end up behaving differently than I hoped for).

And yes, characters evolve over time. Moral lesson I learned from that: DON'T completely etch their personality and history all at the beginning because it(or even the character itself) will bite you in the ass for it. Only do so when you finally get some solid facts about them. OCs are like blobs, they're pretty much unknown until you really start working with them, and eventually they start taking shape. Although really(or at least with me) all you can do is just steer them into a certain direction and "see what happens".

Canons are kind of simliair in ways too, except they have to come with some pre-set "guidelines". Which all vary depending on the person.

Secondly... I "RP" much differently in IM chats than I do in more traditional places(Forums, journals, whatever). Often times, if not MOST of the time, my characters are out of context in IMs because usually IMs are seen as being "OOC". And really, my muses are more like actors, including my OCs too. Normally they only act IC when I have "work" for them.

The main reason why this happens is because my muses have a habit of interacting with eachother. Meaning basically my Gig is having to roomate with a Lavi, Al(plus like 10 other versions of him), Laharl, Hitsugaya, and about 600 of my originals.... When ever he likes it or not. Odds are he's not going to end up being the same as the canon one who's only lived in his own verse, because he's now doing with completely new and different people. Plus that doesn't also count the fact he's living in my head now and gets to deal with all of the stuff I do.

And finally, I DO NOT do pre-set or "planned" pairings. Nor do I really approve of it. Also, just because I happen to take interest in a pairing, doesn't always mean my character approves of it(it's like the old saying of "you can lead a horse to water but can't force it to drink"). Befriending comes first, relationship comes later. Obsessing jump all over them and they aren't going to want to be near you, period... Or will want to chop your head off, depending on the character.

Unless it's just a rape!ship, those kinda break a lot of rules

The only acception is pairings like Elricest, where the two have known eachother FOR A VERY LONG TIME. Enough to where it could be possible that one of them might've developed feelings. But it's still better it have it mostly grown not just "given".

Also, there has been pairings I happened to suddenly like, merely due to something that has happened in an RP, though kinda bothers me seeing it anywhere else... ._.;

All from,
~ A very strange roleplayer

.... Yeah, I shouldn't be allowed to ramble this late at night XD
