Soul Eater

I gave this series a shot, all I gotta say for it is "meh" and "whut?".

Really, I only tried it because the place I get DGM from now is subbing it, I remember a friend talking about a series like it and saying it was good(could have sworn it was a same title, but now I'm pretty sure this isn't the right series because it looks really new), and by reading a tiny description it sounded like a shinigami anime... Nothing can go wrong with those, right?

I wish I was right.. D:

Weird art style(pretty good animation though), odd story, but a little too much on the bizarro scale to get me interested. Also I really hate anime that abuses computer effects like 3d rendering. Only thing really keeping me away from wanting to watch the Kirby anime. Because all the times I've seen it, the two just look horrible together and so... tacky. I like it if it's one or the other.. (even from just watching the first 2 minutes of it I was already going "oh god, what sort of thing have I just gotten into?" DX )

And call me oldskool, but I like 2d animation best, hands down.



So yeah, I'm probably not gonna watch the rest of it.. Although I REALLY want to find some other series to watch besides DGM D:

I dunno though, it's not like I gotta look hard to find it. Maybe it'll be one of those kinds that get really good a couple episodes in, or something >.>;
