... So I hear LJ has been doing more porno-holocausting, and many journals are getting nuked because of it.

I really don't see what's the big deal, and I mean that on both sides. Yes I see why LJ is doing this, and yes I can also see why people are getting pissed because it's not even real, and above all yes I think LJ should be really going after actual pedophiles rather than people who are shipping fictional characters.

My own damnest opinon.. I REALLY think too many people are overreacting. Pairings with big age gaps make me quease anyway, even though LJ is pretty much targetting anything that's with someone under 18(how they're able to know old every character in the universe is is beyond me..). But I still can see where they're coming at. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to destory every child predator, and then right behind it there's a comm that supports something like Roy/Ed (... *shudders*). Yes it's real, but it's still porn, and goes against the very thing they're trying to get rid of.

Besides that but really everytime I find something NC-17 anyway, more times than now it's just for mindless fangirl service >__> (which is what REALLY makes me sick and stay anyway from it, not so much the content itself)... Isn't that really JUST as bad as the actual thing itself, when you really look at it?

Immature maturity, is how I lable about 85% of most of the rabid fandom populations.. Frankly they deserved it to be taken away just for that alone -.-

But eh, regardless, I have my own GJ account already, thanks to Spectral(it's just a 'skeleton' admin account though). Which looks like the place everyone is planning on going if this gets worse or they get deleted.
