Jun. 17th, 2007 11:34 pmOkay..... so.......
My computer is mostly restored, kind of, there's still problems with the hard drives. But at least I know all my files are still safe, and don't seem corrupted or anything. But that's pretty much the only "good news" I really have.
Basically at the moment I'm having to use
galza's old computer, almost literally. Aside from the fact my video card was transferred too becasue it's better. But even with that, there's a billion other little nitpicky pieces of shit that I got to put up with:
1. I can't use both of my hard drives at once, the computer doesn't want to boot when it happens. I have two 60gigs, my brother's hard dive, which has to be the master, is only about 40gigs. Which basically means I'm going to be losing 20gigs of space... Which frankly, both of my HDs were getting maxed out(granted, 50-75% of it is mostly unwanted junk waiting to be backed up anyway). Eitherway I'm going to be short on memory. Not to mention I'm going to have one HELL of a time getting everything I want to keep around all on one HD when there's lots on both.
2. This computer, for some god awful reason, is very very very VERY fincky. It only has 2 USB ports, if I move a something in or out a port the mouse and/or keyboard(more times than not it's the keyboard) freeze up. For some reason the mouse HAS TO be plug by USB or else it doesn't work..... Umm... and I have at least 4 different things that use USB(I guess 5 now), yeah.. >.>
3. ........ the system is loud. I'll admit mine was on the noisy size too, but at least you couldn't hear it on the other side of the house -.- (granted I got to keep the sides open at the moment which I'm sure makes it louder than it should.. which I DO NOT LIKE doing that to computers)
4. I rather not even describe the others
All in short, I want my fucking computer back >.>. This IS supposed to be temporarily... But temoporary means "when I get wnough a new computer, which ain't likely to happen until another year at this point"
.... yeah, thanks alot Galza -___-
